In 1995, Bob Evans recognized a need to help colleges and universities meet the increasingly complex demands of managing their financial aid operations. He created a company built on the simple idea of offering affordable, customized consulting solutions targeted to financial aid offices and related enrollment management operations.

Since its inception, The Evans Consulting Group has served a broad range of clients nationwide -- from small community colleges to large state universities, in all forms of operational restructuring. The hallmark of our process is that we tailor our approach to meet the needs of each client. There are no "cookie cutter" solutions. We build personal relationships with staff to understand their goals, and we leverage their strengths to improve the services they provide to students.

On July 1, 2011, The Evans Consulting Group became part of the NSLP team. Now operating as EC Group, LLC, the company continues to provide best-in-class services focused on interim financial aid management and staffing, compliance and quality assurance, staff training, and a wide range of processing support services.
