Overview
Ivan plays a key role in overseeing the company's system operations, security infrastructure, network maintenance, and software development. As managing director for the ECGIT team, he is committed to keeping all of the company's data secure and providing a wide range of technical support services to ECG employees, business partners, and clients.
Key Experience and Skills
Before joining ECG, Ivan worked as a network engineer for several private companies and at higher education institutions, namely The Johns Hopkins University. He has received certifications and specialized training in server implementation and design as well as in troubleshooting and analysis. His experience includes procurement, development, integration, and administration of vast information systems that serve customers nationwide.
Highlights of Accomplishments
Ivan joined the company in 2006 as director of information technology and was appointed managing director in 2008. Over this time, he has architected major technology enhancements, including:
- Implementation and consolidation of SharePoint servers.
- Deployment of a standardized and secure Windows XP platform for mobile computing.
- Employment of remote management procedures for systems security.
- Creation of a help request process using a unified call center and email queue system.
- Procurement and installation of Skype PC-to-PC telephony companywide.
- Coordination of ongoing software deployment and hardware replacement.
- Support of a website launch and restructuring.
