Overview
Jerry joined ECG as a senior consultant in 2008. He is responsible for managing multiple projects, including operational reviews and systems-related process improvements for financial aid, student accounts, and bursar functions.
Key Experience and Skills
Prior to joining ECG, Jerry spent nine years working in financial aid positions at Golden Gate University, California Culinary Academy, and the University of Phoenix. In these positions, he gained expertise with analyzing product and market trends, profitability, and functional capability for financial aid modules; defining business requirements for new software products; managing the integration and implementation of new financial aid modules, and designing product extensions for existing systems; performing quality assurance reviews of financial aid documents and procedures; and conducting staff training and development.
Highlights of Accomplishments
In his recent engagement work, Jerry has provided technical support for several ECG clients. His projects have included:
- Identifying and resolving issues for a multi-campus financial aid management system.
- Providing analytical and systems documentation in a software development environment using formal analytical and project management methodologies and tools.
- Designing and implementing application systems, including systems that improved operational performance by using Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Performing on-site and remote support for client systems, including problem resolution, system solutions, and subsequent enhancements to prevent problem recurrence.
- Providing product documentation, including training material and functional design specifications for a client’s knowledge management system.
