As a senior consultant for ECG, Judy provides financial aid staffing support, conducts operational reviews, and coordinates other consulting services to fulfill client engagements. In her recent engagement work, Judy has conducted compliance reviews and served as the interim financial aid director for several clients. She also provided support for a special audit of a large state grant program.

Judy joined ECG in 2002 following 15 years in financial aid at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and the University of the Incarnate Word.  During her campus tenure, Judy held several financial aid positions with increasing responsibility, beginning as a financial aid counselor and working up to associate director and interim director.

While at UTSA, Judy created and opened an Enrollment Services Center and coordinated cross-training for staff in admissions, financial aid, registration, and other student service areas.  Judy's accomplishments since joining ECG include:

• Provided interim management to both single and multi-campus community colleges, successfully transitioning the office to new leadership under newly hired directors.
• Led teams to successfully complete multi-year operational reviews, highlighting areas of weaknesses for school improvement, identifying files for reconstruction, and calculating liability amounts.
• Created a policy and procedure manual for use in the financial aid office of a multi-campus community college.
