| Ms.
Hickey comes to ECG from her own consulting practice where she
worked with clients on Datatel implementation services. Other
comprehensive services she has provided are: process analysis
and development to automate and streamline the ISIR application
processing; analysis, set up, and testing and training to implement
automatic packaging; rules construction for all financial aid
programs to automate disbursements; and set up and training
to implement Return of Funds module.
Nearly thirty years ago, Ms. Hickey began her
tenure in financial aid as a manager at such institutions
such as Chesapeake College, Montgomery College, and Macqueen
Gibbs Willis School of Nursing all located in Maryland. Later,
she was the Associate Director at the Maryland Higher Education
Administration Office where she was responsible for their
scholarship operations that awarded $26 million to 19 programs.
Her specific achievements included the automation of the Distinguished
Scholar program and the implementation of the data exchange
program within Maryland’s colleges and universities.
At Anne Arundel Community College, Ms. Hickey
served as the Director of Student Financial Services and headed
all the student financial assistance programs. She developed
and implemented the use of automation in all levels of office
processing and implemented the Datatel Colleague system to
include applications processing, packaging, document tracking,
satisfactory academic progress and student communications.
She was later promoted to Manager of the college’s systems
operations where she developed Colleague System Communications
Tracks for all of the departments within Student Services.
Ms. Hickey has a strong technological background
and expertise to implement automated processes throughout
the different areas of enrollment management to promote efficiency
in a higher education institution’s operations. More
importantly, she provides ECG’s clients the practice
of conducting ongoing and systematic evaluations of communication
systems technologies to ensure that their organization continues
to process effectively in the long term.
